The largest and most diverse collection held at STEAM is the Archive display, this holds more than 5,000 individual and group collections that include precious historical records and documents that relate to all aspects of British Railway as a whole and more specifically the Great Western Railway.  Accident reports, ledgers, staff registers, traffic minutes and board reports are all contained in this extraordinary selection of official company paperwork.
