Xiaomi have just announced the new sub-brand for the Smart Home of Xiaomi, but the Chinese manufacturer continues to flood us with new products more “classic”, definitely more interesting than a rice cooker (no offense to the rice admirers).
The first is the Xiaomi Mi Router 3, the third generation of router of the Chinese company. The router has a very minimal design, completely white and very thin, from which stand out the 4 antennas Wi-Fi for the best possible coverage. We do not have the complete technical equipment and ports on the device, but we expect something like that tome Router 2, equipped with four Ethernet ports, a USB and support for Wi-Fi b / g / n / ac, thus also 5 GHz. The router would also be managed via an app, like all Xiaomi devices “smart”.
Then it follows the second version of Mi Water Purifier, a device that through a reverse osmosis process makes possible the purification of water for many pollutants of various kinds. The new version has the same dimensions 205 x 260 x 410 mm, but promises to be able to filter a huge daily amount of water – up to six times the flow rate of the previous model – at the rate of one liter per minute. This is a very interesting device for areas with the availability of running water is not very pure, or those who simply want to be absolutely sure not to ingest dangerous particles.
Last but not least it is finally Mi Bluetooth Speaker, the new company’s Bluetooth speaker designed for audio in portability. It integrates a battery 1200 mAh promises up to 7 hours of music playback and is equipped with a microphone for calls, all in very compact dimensions of just 60 x 60 x 93 mm. The device is obviously controllable via Bluetooth 4.1 and a dedicated app.
